A while ago (in Yosemite) I noticed the basic background of all my iTunes windows went black. Only in the device summary page section on backups is the text in a contrasting color.. That and the songs view of ‘My Music.’ Album views and individual playlists are readable in the main window (with gray text), but the background is still black. Anything with a check box or radio button is pure black. So essentially iTunes is useless for anything but listening which I can do with any device.
This has continued into my El Capitan upgrade, so I know it’s something that got clobbered in my system.
Any idea what this is or how I can copy something back into the Library to get my ability to do ANYTHING in iTunes back? Or should I trash iTunes and do another install so the new one is not overridden by whatever is wrong with the old?
